![]() ![]() The MP cost of that bow finisher is a whopping 60 MP though, but it's worth banking enough MP to use it. Even if the charm typically only lasts one turn, it's one turn that they're directing their ire on the enemies instead of you. Since I had two bow-wielders, I would use that finisher to charm certain units like the wizard, the archers on the upper wall, and the berserker and they would just go to town on the rest of the enemy forces. ![]() The finisher charms at a pretty high rate it seems, especially when considering that the Archer auto-skill that grants guaranteed hits to themselves and nearby party members also makes it so that status effects attached to the attack have a 100% chance of landing too. What I did for this particular fight was send my Water Dragon up ahead with my Knight and Beast Tamer to distract Lanselot (hopefully into attacking the dragon while Dragon Scale is up to reflect damage back at him, though sadly he didn't take the bait this run, with his AI usually using the far less dangerous light spells against the Knight and Beast Tamer), have my squishy mages hide behind pillars in the center which actually makes it so that the archers on the upper walls actually can't attack them (though the crossbow archers with the boss still can, but they don't do enough damage to one-round any of them), and sent the rest of my characters to the stairs on the left side to deal with the bulk of the enemy forces.Īrchers actually really scale respectably at endgame, especially after you get their Bow level to 30+ and unlock the finisher there.
